Stained Glass Class with Rachelle Paul
Stained Glass Class with Rachelle Paul
Led by artist Rachelle Paul @glass.house.studios, this 8 hour class will guide you through the entire stained glass process. Choose from one of 6 design templates and select from a variety of glass colours that are provided. You will then get to cut, grind, foil and solder your very own glass suncatcher and take your work of art home at the end of the class!
No stained glass experience is required. All personal protective equipment will be provided to ensure safety (Safety glasses, gloves, etc.). Please wear closed toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting messy (aprons are great if you have them!). Also, bring a closed water bottle and a packed lunch.
Rachelle is a self-taught stained glass artist who is based in Middle Sackville, NS. She has been working with glass for over decade and uses traditional Tiffany stained glass methods; although her style of work is modern and playful.
She works with bright, cheerful colour palettes, as well as heritage glass that is increasingly hard to come by. Geometry and nature are central themes in many of her pieces, as are more whimsical themes such as comfort food, and cute animals.
The session will run from 10 am -6pm on May 17, 2026 at Wonder’neath, 2482 Maynard Street.
Minimum 7 participants, maximum of 10.
Please Note: Stained glass involves working with lead, acids, and other corrosive materials.
